Adventure begins
with an invitation.
Lightfighters Expeditions is an outdoor adventure community in the making, with diving at its heart. We’re starting on the Central Coast with a simple belief: we’re all equal under the water. Your background, bank balance, or experience shouldn’t decide whether you get to discover its beauty.
From 2027 through 2029, we’ll build on weekends: local expeditions, trail groups, beach days, and dives organized with local shops. We help turn adventures that feel out of reach into real experiences you can keep making part of your life.

Make outdoor adventure more accessible to people who feel excluded.
Sometimes the barrier is cost. Sometimes it’s confidence, not having a buddy, or never seeing someone like you out there. We want to help people take a first step, discover what they’re capable of, and keep coming back.

Our vision for 2035.
Our goal: open the first Lightfighters Expeditions HQ in San Diego in 2031. The foundation is a weekend adventure community from 2027 through 2029. By 2035, our goal is two main headquarters: one in San Diego and one in Greece on the Mediterranean. Here’s the proposed pathway from local weekends to that wider vision.

Return to the water & lay the foundation
Start with one real step.
Joey is working toward a diving refresher, reconnecting with a local dive community, and returning to regular ocean diving. Alongside that personal journey, listen to the people Lightfighters wants to welcome and begin building relationships with local shops.
What we’re working toward
Prepare for the return to diving; share authentic progress; understand barriers around cost, confidence, equipment, buddies, and belonging.
Personal preparation and listening come first. A first outing should respond to a clearly understood need.
Planning milestones, not announced launch dates. The pace will depend on community feedback, partnerships, funding, and readiness.
